It's a complete waste of time, but oh so much fun. Basically, you say whatever you feel like, whenever you feel like. Think of it as a blog, but your friends pay attention more often. And you can do it from your mobile phone too (http://m.jaiku.com) or your computer (look around the web for Jaiku destop apps). I'm not sure why, but telling people about yourself, even if they're not paying attention, is addictive.
BTW, how are you? We haven't talked in forever. Come visit me.

Unfortunately, I use Apple's Address Book which only exports a VCF file. I have to convert it to a TXT or CSV file but need the format for either. If someone tells me what the Jaiku import facility uses, I can easily create that format.

Rick, you saying that you can't see the RSS feeds at the links that I sent? I wonder if it's something special I did to get them. You can see the feeds work at my Jaiku page too.

Not entirely true. You can see your status and your friends' status updates. For yours, go to http://www.facebook.com/minifeed.php?filter=11 and for your friends', go to http://www.facebook.com/statusupdates/?ref=hp. The RSS feed is at the bottom of the right-most column.
